This is still one of the Caribbean’s best kept secrets as well as a feat of enormous fortitude and patience. Most travellers reach Carriacou by flying to Grenada and then continuing either by plane with SVG-air or by ferry boat with the Osprey Shuttle.
Several commercial air lines and charter companies fly to Grenada directly from Europe and North America including Monarch, British Airways, American Airlines, Delta, Caribbean Airways, BWIA, Virgin Atlantic and Condor.
Smaller inter-island carriers also service Grenada from other island hubs such as Barbados, Antigua, Puerto Rico and Tobago
From Grenada to Carriacou there are daily flights with SVG-air. The flight takes approximately 20 and the cost is about EC$ 310 for a round trip ticket.
There is also a high speed ferry, the Osprey Shuttle, which runs between Grenada and Carriacou once daily. It is a 90 minute boat ride and the approximate cost is EC$160 return.
